Brazilian Rosewood Pens

More Christmas gifts … these for some of the guys at the office.

These pens were turned from a piece of Brazilian Rosewood, given to me by one of the guys in our local woodturner’s club.

The gift ‘tags’ are 3/32” thick pieces of maple left over from another project. I used my branding iron to burn in “From The Shop Of …”, and used my new Colwood Burning Tool (early Christmas gift from ME to ME!) to include the wood species and the name of the recipient.

Nice looking pens…

... except for the flat bottom of your pkg, it looks like they might be Test Tubes… :)

Joe—The tubes are scroll saw blade tubes.

I have regular (triangular) pen tubes, but the girth of these pens is such that, once you get them in, you can’t get them out!
