I made this tea caddy out of walnut for my wife, the corners are box joints, the top and bottom are 3/4” thick.
The back of the box is for tea bags and the front jars are for loose tea. I acid eched the glass so she can write on the glass what kind of tea is in it, when she changes the tea the writing can be washed and changed.
The box has many coats of clear deft oil hand rubbed and wet sanded.

Fine looking tea caddy, nice joints, good color. I like the trim detail on the inside of the lid.

Nice subtle box. Also like the combination of wood box with internal glassware. The two work well together. I’ve been working on a tantalus (couple months away) that combines glass and a wood box (but you beat me to it). Hope to see more boxes from you.
