This box is titled Rockford for Rockford, Illinois and is made from dovetailed Sapele with an inlaid Swiss Pear top. A fitted leather lining and brass hinges complete the box.

Size: 6’ deep x 8” wide x 4” high

I really like this box. Sapele is a gorgeous wood and the inlay just draws your attention to the box.

This one is my favorite. I like the details and I think that the inlay work adds a lot of character to your boxes.

Jon, I fell in love with Swiss Pear when I saw it used in Beneteau sailboats (the cabinets behind me in my picture are those cabinets) I have found a few pieces online, and even have found some veneer at Woodcraft.
