Zoom Pictures

I made this bowl for the company Christmas party, it’s made out of Spalted maple… it’s the only picture I have because I forgot before I gave it away.

It’s also full of worm holes… I was a bit frustrated with this but decided to go forward anyway because I was on a tight timeline.

Finished with semi gloss wipe on poly

This is also the first time I’ve ever left the middle in like that… the various angles were pretty challenging for me since I still barely know what I’m doing.

That is it’s brother… at least I think it was, I bought the wood from the same guy at the same time… so I assume from the same tree. They looked very similar on the outside… it’s cool how different they are on the inside =)

Hey man, that is not wierd. It is a great chip and dip bowl. Just put a glass bowl with dip in the center and fill the outside with chips. Very practical. I love it!!!!!!!!!!!!....................Jim

ps. The grain in that bowl is outstanding!!!
