Thought I’d post a few pics of some things I turned for Christmas. Two of the pepper mills are mahogany while the other two are laminated from wood I had stashed around the shop. The travel mugs are also lanimated from scraps around the shop. The first t-lite holder is made from cutoff from a cutting board I made a couple of years ago. Just cut it in half, matched up the wood and glued and turned. The second t-lite is a cut off from one of the pepper mill blanks. The last t-lite is a small piece of box elder I found in the bottom of my scrap box. I just hate to throw wood away. Turning has given me a way to use up that small stuff that remains after larger flat work projects.
