Working with wood is so fun! Some of these are finished with Lacquer and others a 2 part Auto clear coat paint. I do like how they turned out. We are discovering how the different woods give different tones.
So far my favorate tone is Myrtle wood and my favorate look is Spalted Maple burl.

To help me out I would love it if you where to blog about The Z-Stiks on face book and Twitter. We need all the buzz we can get.

You can hear and see them being played at www.z-stik.com

Thanks so much
Greg

I went to the site www.z-stik.com and watched the videos. Those are some cool instruments. Multipurpose and flexible these percussion instruments could easily put a new twist on music.

I tip my hat at the beautiful grain, but I must say the accuracy you brought to the table with these sticks is amazing.

Great idea Greg…and beautiful works – I especially like the burls on top – they have spectacular figure. Looks like you are off to a wonderful start. Almost makes me wish I could play an instrument, but it seems I hardly have time for my hobbies as it is.
