Another order for Xmas… Two Lazy Larrys… for two different tables…
First three photos are of a 550 mm [22 inch] diameter New South Wales Rosewood LL.
The other three are a 450 mm [18 inch] diameter Merbau [from Indonesia] LL.
Both were cut on the bandsaw and then the centres scarfed out to leave a lip….done with the TWC…

Nice looking pieces Larry, like the wood and the finish you achieved. Are you going to slow down for X’mas.
Merry Christmas to you and family.

That rosewood is stunning!
I hope you posted them express. The ladies in the post shop told my missus a few days ago that was a good idea to ensure delivery before the day.

Larry; you select the most wonderful grains for your projects. The Rosewood is my favorite, and the merbau has a walnut look which has some nice tones. As the others have said, take some time for yourself and family this Christmas, your deserve it. I wish you and family a wonderful holiday.

Very nice tables,Larry. That TWC doubles as a lathe!! And I’ll bet it is very accruate and flat!
You are getting close to Christmas to get these done. At this rate, you’ll be wrapping on Christmas Eve!!!

That Merbau is nice, but that Rosewood is gorgeous. It looks like a glue-up from two boards, could you confirm? The grain matching is almost imperceptable.

The lip on those really sets them apart. The touch of refinement.
Hopefully work will slow down for a week now, then it is wall to wall work for a week…....oh well…......must have sinned somewhere along the way…...................(-:
