The box is 3/4 Baltic birch on a base of yellow pine. The pictures are printed on Arches paper, glued to the latex-acrylic base coat. The top coat is solvent lacquer. The lettering is laser cut from 1/8 acrylic sheet, epoxied to the base. The handles are made from 1/2 glass rod and brass tubing and rod.

What a marvelous piece of furniture. An intimate modern masterpiece.
You have given it fine form & balance, with lovely colours and details. I gather she likes butterflies! – what a great way to decorate a child’s piece.

Thanks for the compliment, it was fun to see come together. Making the handles was the most challenging.

The bottom line is you…made…the handles. Nice work!
