A very nice looking sign. I like the different colors that show in the ash and the black border really sets the whole sign off nicely. When you say ‘heat treated’, is that the same thing as kiln dried? Is the lettering done with a hand held router or a CNC machine?

heat treating is done separate from the drying process, you can read more about it here http://www.lunawood.fi/eng/ . The lettering is made by CNC, note that the frame is also cut out from the same piece of wood.
