A guitar stand for one of my brothers for Christmas. I borrowed a pattern from fellow LJ David McCoy. Made from cherry.

Absolutely stunning. Do you have any dimensions you could share? My son has several guitars, but lives in FL so I can’t borrow one for dimensions. Or does one need to have the guitar on hand and make a custom fit?

Viciki, It really helps to have a guitar on hand. I borrowed one from my nephew, but I will try to get the dimensions for you.

Thanks Stanley, I thought that might be the case. I wanted to surprise him. Maybe it would be better to tell him and then have him trace one of his guitars for a pattern I could use.

Well done Stanley. I like the light non invasive design too.

That’s a very nice guitar stand.
I have three guitars in need of stands in my home. I was hoping to find some ideas here on L.J. I’ll have to add a version of this to my growing “to do” list.
