Basket Weave Cutting Boards

A couple basket weave style cutting boards I put together. They are made from 5/4 QS White Oak and Walnut for the striping. I found the idea here on LJs and could not resist. My non woodworking friends have a hard time figuring out how its done, some think its done with stain. If it was only that easy. They are 15”x11”x7/8” and finished with several coats of GF’s Salad Bowl Finiish. Thank’s for looking.

It looks good to me.
The grain is perfect for this board.

Nicely done!
Not just a run of the mill cutting board at all.
