Bandsaw boxes

These have been in progress for a couple of mionths now, waiting to be finished…

The fish was the box I made when I first inherited my bandsaw, made from a few oak offcuts.
Lesson learned – use a sharp blade of the right size for the cuts involved

The other box was made from a offcut of solid oak kitchen worktop (two pieces glued together).
Lesson learned – don’t force it, let the saw do the work and have patience

Both are finished with just Danish oil

Nice cut lines on the square box, I find that to be the hard part as you learned from the fish box.

Goof job. Careful bandsaw boxes can be addictive.
