As I mentioned in the Celtic Cross project… this project originated as part of my church sanctuary expansion. Built in the same manner as the sanctuary cross… I fabricated this set of four (4) hammer beams to anchor a set of faux ceiling beams. All are made of red oak. And then for a little tradecraft… I burned in my company emblem & initials. Enjoy.

Thiese look great ,it must have been a challenge to work on these Hammer beams and move them around the shop.

Those are nice. However, you know, for me, I hafta do A REAL HAMMER BEAM TRUSS, even crazier! I HAVE built timber frame homes, hence my love for mortise and tenon. Where can I put a hammer beam truss? Here in my studio?? he he…
