A simple shelf for my (relatively) new workbench. Made from the same wood as the bench, hard maple.

Well Done! Looks good, is useful and adds stability to the bench.

Steven,
I sure like your new bench….is that the one you posted on the thread Work Bench Smackdown? Very nice, and now the new shelf under it….sweet…. Now….if you just had a cabinet full of drawers for storage, you’d be set to go….lol. Re-fresh my memory…..what brand is it, and the diminsions?

Rick,

Steven’s bench is a Lie-Nielsen. You can find out more about it here.

Rick Dennington: Brandon is correct, I ordered it from Lie-Nielsen. The top is 4” thick hard maple, 24” deep, 7’ in length, and the standard 35” tall. Very nice bench. I looked into building one myself, but the wood and hardware was almost as much as the entire bench, so it was kind of a no-brainer (at least for me).

Thanks Brandon, for the imformation and the link…..Do you still have me blocked…I was going to comment on a project you built and posted, and I was blocked from commenting..just wondered why?
Not that it matters…...just curious…..

Steven: I had forgotten the make or the diminsions. I just remembered it being a beautiful bench, and a real work of art…..I know you’re proud of it…..I would be….nice shelf to go under it, too…..

Rick, I have never blocked anybody on this site intentionally. I don’t know how, but indeed I had you blocked. Sorry for that!
