Simple Christmas Ornaments

In Brian Havens’ Shop Journal #5 , he shows making simple Christmas ornaments on the lathe.

I’m a novice turner, I need practice with the skew, and I had some poplar on the shelf that was about the right size.

These are by no means ‘elegant’, but they are good skill builders, and they are fun for the grand-kids.

Really fun looking. I am off to read that article as ornaments are on my todo list for tomorrow.
