This little garden bench was 7 years in the making. My step-mother showed me a photo of this garden bench from a magazine and asked me if I could build it for her. I gladly told her I would make it. I finally built it this week and delivered it to her yesterday. She was extremely happy with it. I am not sure if she was more amazed that I actually got around to building it after 7 years or that I still had the magazine article to go by after 7 years.
The last photo is of my dad and step-mom enjoying the new bench. I used treated lumber (fencing material) for the bench, so that it will stand up to the elements.
The bench measures 40” tall, 46” wide and 22” deep.
