I did this out of Poplar and my wife did the uphostry. I decided against oak and leather because I wanted something different. Finish is chestnut and poly.

I might add this chair is replacing the LazyBoy in the background, It was really a disapointment.

Subsituting with popular did not take away from the style of the chair. Nice job. You could always put the Lazy Boy in your shop for some intense designing sessions. ZZZZZZZZZZZZ

Nice Chair!

I’m glad to see that Poplar “works” for something like this!

COOL!

What plan did you use… or did you just Do It?

Thank you.

Joe, plan came from WOOD with a few mods by me. I’m going to build wife one but it will be a swivel rocker.
I’ve done several projects out of poplar that I don’t have posted.
