This is another in a series of stained glass . I call this “Curved Sky” because I am trying to capture the beautiful blue sky as a design element capturing with curves like a backdrop or a canvas to paint on. I used white oak for the center pole and then laminated the curve with hickory because it has no memory and will stay curved . It is 42’’ x 16’ tall. The glass shimmers with sound and it clanks together in such a poetic way it’s mesmerizing and meditative. I love the way the left side of Curve is frameless and captures the sky leading your eye into the center . A truly colorful piece that is amazing to me and I made it. All this and Heaven too.
