This is a bar I recently made for my friends parents. It has birch raised panels on the front, and open cabinets inside with a single bank of drawers. The stain is called espresso, they wanted it really dark. The pictures didn’t turn out as well as id hoped they would, its a rather dark in te=he basement and the dark stain on the birch didn’t help it any, surprisingly though having the dark panels doesn’t darken and close in the room like I thought it would. Their happy with the end result so I’m happy as well. Now all thats left to do is to take it on its maiden voyage.

Lew, I didnt make the moulding, I’m lucky enough to work in a custom moulding and millwork shop so i had one of the guys there make it for me, you can macke something very similar to it on the table saw though.
