Humidor for fire fighter

I made this humidor for a fire fighter, I needed to try out making this type anyway so it was a chalenge. I chose Flame box elder as the background for the fire badge. the badge itself was made from sapele, walnut, alder, padauk and cherry. The sides are walnut with a spanish cedar lining inside. I wasn’t completely happy with the result, I ended up sizing the case too small because I sized the box off the peices of elder; in hindsight I should have added a frame around the elder to increase the dimensions.
