My wife and I are attending a Christmas party later this evening. Part of the festivities includes playing a round of “Dirty Santa.”

We decided to take one of the ornaments I turned. I decided it needed some extra special packaging.

First pic is the ornament, held by my lovely daughter. Next four are the packaging process.

Now for some special gift wrap and wait to see the face of the vic… errrrrr.. receipient.

Just in the nick of time. I’m gonna steal your idea and do the same thing for the party I’m going to tonight, but with a business card holder. Thanks for the idea. :)

Reminds me what my mother would every year. She would decide who she was going to do it to. She then procedded to wrap the gift in so many ways, that you would not believe. One year she nailed my brother. I can’t remember how many rolls of TP she used. About half way through the wrapping she put a note with a asprin in it. Can’t remember what the note said. After my brother finished opening it up. All there was a note telling him where his gift was. HE TOOK THE ASPRIN!!!!

My mother was the master at wrapping presents. She used to tape every edge of the box to seal it, the wrap it 3-4 time with various papers and in multiple boxes.

A few years ago I got even. I crated her Christmas present, glued and nailed it shut on all edges, then wrapped it in the prettiest foil paper I could find. She had to take a crowbar and a circular saw to open it.

She hasn’t given me a wrapped present since. 8-)

Everything looks better with sawdust on it!
