Of course, when entertaining in the parlor one hopes to keep a refined sense of style and a conservative décor. One seeks traditional, warm, inviting, elegant, and classic furniture with a restrained palette.

Then the big game comes on, the monster truck rally starts, the latest punkin chuckin machines are on show. Entertaining in the parlor? More like big screen TV in a locker room atmosphere.

You settle in with a big plate of ribs and a brewski or two… or three. Oops, dribbled a bit of barbecue sauce on the chair.

Not to worry, the “Gentlemen’s Companion” side table comes to the rescue! Tap on the far end and out the other side pops a drawer filled with anything and everything you need.

Napkins? Sure….. also coasters, salt and pepper, toothpicks, wet wipes.

Need glasses, remote controls, finger nail clippers, q-tips, little garbage bags? It’s all there.
