Thank you. I had some left over maple T & G to form the box.Then I copied Pachmayr box design.

Very nice. What is the thickness of the box sides and are you happy with the weight of the finished box? I had considered doing something like that but was worried about how heavy the final product might be.

Woodenitbenice The material is heavy 1/2” or almost 9/16. I did not find the weight to be any different than my other Pachmayr boxes. Enjoy. You will get many compliments on the range,People like to see a handmade box.
