These are the latest of my Christmas ornaments turned just a few days ago. The first one is Red Cedar and Red Oak, the second one is Spalted Maple and Jatoba, the third is a Maple Burl and Madrone from Greg at Oregon Burls and the last is a inside out turning made of Hard Maple and Cocobolo. All are finished with multiple coats of laquer and then buffed on the Beal.
My wife enjoys using them on our Christmas Tree and as a matter of fact that the only ornaments on our tree. I have turned in the neighbor hood of 100 of these and have given away numerous ones to family and friends.
All comments are welcome…. Merry Christmas Everyone!!

Great looking Ornaments Chuck. That burl sure has nice grain figure. I like the finial work that you did on the fourth ornament.

Thanks all for the nice words, I think ornaments are fun to do and don’t take a whole bunch of time and everyone enjoys receiving them.
Steve as far as the quantity that I have turned, that number is over the last two years so it really isn’t that many if you make a few at a time.
Thanks again for your support goes to my fellow LJ’s

Chuck., Very nice ornaments. I turned a few last year with my daughter and had good intentions of making some for gifts this year and now all of a sudden it’s just weeks before Christmas and I haven’t got to a fraction of what I was going to do…. If work and the rest of the world would just leave me alone…........ Nice work
