LJ’s
I wanted to try and make a dovetailed bowl for some time now. After a lot of thinking and looking around on the internet I decided to give it a try. The dovetail joint was made on the router-table.
It’s a “bowl from a board”kind of project!!
Thanks for watching

I’m guessing you did a big sliding dovetail to join the two boards and then bandsawed the circles at an angle then stack laminated and then put on the lathe to get final shape?

Incorporating dovetail into a segmented bowl is an ingenious idea! I like it very much.

Very nice.
I have made one of these too. The long sliding dovetail is trickier than I thought it would be.
Yours came together nicely.
How big is it?
