Bookcase No picture No picture No picture No picture No picture

My first project for a friend of mine. The bookcase is made of solid white oak and has a plywood back. Three of the four shelves are adjustable. I used an oil Jacobean stain with a satin polyurethane to finish the project. All the rough lumber was bought at a local sawmill.

Welcome to Lumberjocks! I really like the little details that you added to the bookcase that make it stand apart from some of the others I’ve seen. Keep up the good work!

Thanks for sharing this with us. I don’t know what it is, but I just love bookcases. Maybe because I love books (and own way too many!). I have yet to build a stand alone book case, but it is on my list of things to do.
