I made this for a MSgt executing orders to California. My inspiration came from a folding picture frame that I saw at Michael’s. I figured I could make a folding shadow box on a larger scale so he could put it on his desk and adjust the display as needed. I learned a lot from this project as far as cutting pieces of wood with the exact same method to get even pieces. The left and right portions swing via hinges and is able to close for transport. I had some alignment issues in the end while putting on the hinges and getting the box to close all of the way. But, the MSgt was pleased regardless. Thanks for looking!
