This was my second shadow box made. My favorite part of this shadow box is the placard. Due to having limited funds and lack of donations from people in our unit I have to find different ways to save money to hopefully put into other aspects of the project. If you print out something on a laser printer or photo copier, the small image or words can be reversed on paint. You can then place it on the material and then iron it on, or use a wood burning tool w/ according attachment to heat tranfer the words. The results were decent, I think due to the grain of the oak. Would probably work better on MDF from what someone else told me. This method saved me around $25. Enjoy!

I looped silver wire around the blades of both cuffs and through the backing of the box. You would have to look really hard to even notice it! Thanks for looking!
