This table is made of a White oak harvested from a tree line near the KS/NE border. They were kd and slabbed. The entire table is made from 2 boards that were book matched for the top. The remaining pieces are making up the leg assembly. they started out at nearly 12ft L by 23 in w the finished project is 42”w by 72” L and
1.75” T. The knots and finish are a bar top epoxy finish with the objects embedded in the finish. it has 4 coats on the finish. I left a natural edge and sanded some of the knots and rough edge under the finish for a more rustic look.

Thanks for posting this awesome piece. This gives me an idea of what I can do with my stash of walnut!

This table will be passed down for generations. Good job.
