Cherry stem glass holder that I have made for a gift. I am torn between a couple of finishes, I was considering tung oil or lacquer. Does anyone have any suggestions.

Nice stemware hold!!
Personally, I would lacquer it and wet sand with 400 between coats. Another finish I have been using a lot lately is a Matte Clear spray. Aftr 3 coats , it gives a nice satin finish!!...............Jim
