Shabby chic bedroom suite

I have just finished fitting this bedroom suite. It has taken around six weeks to build and is made out of Moisture resistant MDF. It is spray painted in an off white AC laquer with a ground coat of a chocolate colour on top of two coats of primer. This was then scuffed to allow the chocolate to show through. All of the drawers are on soft close runners and the hinges are also soft closers. I added some green felt to the dressing table drawer for a nice effect. There is also a secret compartment below the dressing table on a push to open catch. Most difficult part was fitting in the top corner boxes as it was a cottage with a sloping roof each side.

very nice work a shame you couldn’t do this in a nice hardwood it would have been even more impressive well done 5 out of 5 stars for good craftsmanship

Wow! That’s a really impressive project. You added a lot of nice looking storage to that room!
