This was my first project and first time ever working with wood. It took quite some time to learn how to make this. I never realized how much time and effort it took to go into something that looks so simple. 16×20 oak stained box w/ English Chestnut with several coats of polyurethane. This was made for a Sergeant leaving our unit so I incorporated the NCO creed with a machine gunner’s photo I found online. The outside bead that I put on made it look so much better in the end. Thanks for looking!
