Quite a few years ago Workbench magazine held a contest. The rules for the contest were: Whatever you make has to start out as a box that was 25” X 28”. Send photos of the completed project, & copy of your plan.
That took a lot of thought, And I came up with a plan for this Wall hung Curio cabinet. I had some beveled glass I had salvaged from an old dilapidated house door, so I had to design the cabinet to fit the size of the glass. That took a lot adjusting to meet the specifications of the contest.
I used Minnesota White Spruce, with a Dark Walnut stain, & Satin poly finish.
I’m sorry to say, but never even placed in the contest, But my wife ended up with a curio cabinet that she always wanted.

Dick there is absolutely no way I’m going to let my Barb see this, cause if she did she would fill it up just like your Barb has. Goodness – must weigh a ton! or is that tonne?
Very nice work, Dick.
