Another item headed for the land fill. No way. The top was a bit warped and had a bad burn mark.I cut a small section from the top lengthwise.reglued it and sanded by hand.I also repainted the old drop hardware and put it all back together.applied a 3 part finish of 1/3 tung oil 1/3 boiled lindseed oil 1/3 satin polyurethane rubbed on 3 coats after warming the surface and the finish.Now in a lovely dining room.
