I built this project for my wife. She uses it to carry her favorite baubles when we travel out of town. It is made of curly eucalyptus and bolivian rosewood. I used a drawer lock bit to create the dado for the lid. The tote is flocked on the inside with black flocking.

Gpops, I bought those lovely pieces of eucalyptus and rosewood at the Chattanooga Woodcraft store.
