I call this bowl “Show Off” because it was made on a recent trip to Tucson, Az. You see I am a member of GWRRA (goldwing road riders association) motorcycle club. Anyway they invited me to a Rally as a vendor. I loaded a 1 ton utility truck and a trailer with most all of my tools and set up a demonstration booth to show all interested what fun woodworking could be. This bowl was made at that Rally. Maple, Walnut & an inlay ring of turquoise granular.

That is a very cool peice! The colors look great and the pattern works very well.
Very impressive!
Q: Did you put the bowl back on the lathe after the turquoise inlay, or, did you smooth it some other way?

WHAT a good idea of demostration, two birds in one stone.
A nice bowl like this one, is always in my mind to do, but time and many others ideas make me put off…well one day.
I like very much.

Well named! Pretty impressive to get that made during a demonstration.
