This bowl was an attempt at using a plywood segment, not sure how it would turn out, The leaf ring is a strip of trim molding I found at Home Depot, I just had to fill the indentations with a color mix of epoxy, the top ring is Purpleheart.

Wow Lizard man you have been a busy boy, this is my favourite of your posts, the purple heart adds a touch of class to the piece & compliments the leaf ring :)

It is very nice and leaf line is adding more beauty to it. Note: When using plywood in a flat position, you dont need to segment it, you can cut one piece ring of PW. It will look the same.
