jealous. I tried to make a ring out of purple heart, but it kept snapping. Nice bracelet.

Nicely done, it is beautiful, and your finish excellent, especially for poplar, which can appear so plain. What do you use for common inner diameters of bracelets?

@Barbs: Most of my bracelets are made to fit my wife…and that ends up being 2-5/8”. I’ve also made some at 3” and 3-1/4”. I’m using a commercial butcher block conditioner as finish which is made from mineral oil and wax.
@GabeB: I use a variety of woods. Hardwoods mostly. Thought tonight I had five “attempts” at a walnut one break (you jinxed me! :) You might try laminating a couple of kinds of wood, alternating the grain. Here’s a sample of one I did: http://lumberjocks.com/projects/53394
