Maple End Grained Vessel

This is a sugar maple end grain vessel. It has a ebonized walnut cap and finial. Laquer finish, buffed out with paste wax. It is about 6.5 inches tall and 5 inches wide at the top.

Great job Barney, you might like to try & experiment with your background a bit, I don’t think it is helping your presentation going on the last 2 pieces, They look like classy pieces but are difficult to pick up detail, Just a suggestion IMHO, looks a nice job : ))
