Some presents that had been in various stages of completion, but needed to be finished this weekend before Christmas could overtake me.

Not perfect in any way, my projects never get close to that, but a fun learning experience and I think my girls will like.

#1 Butternut Jewelry box with maple tray and cedar dividers and bottom.

#2 Tiger Maple Jewelry box with maple tray and cedar dividers and bottom.

#3 Walnut Jewelry Box with walnut tray, cedar dividers, butternut drawer front.

Wish I was on the Christmas list! Those are all fine looking boxes/gifts. Very nice.

Nicely done. Your workbench is too neat, but the boxes look great!

Cato,
Nice boxes. I hope you keep making them.

Thanks all for your encouraging comments.

I know my design and execution on these is pretty basic stuff in the craft of box making, but for me is much better not to try and tackle anything more than these for my first efforts.

Hopefully I can improve my skills on my next ones.

Have your say...
