Very nice project. This is a good way to “get rid” of cutoffs.
Thanks for the post.

Time and scraps well spent – looks great. What is the size?

that piece is only about 4 1/2” x 12”. It was my “tester” to a 24” x 62” kitchen island top I am making for my step mother. I am also making the cabinet / stand for the island, but I need to turn the four legs first. I will put some in progress photo’s up as I also was to give her a “scrap book” of start to finish on the project. This is my first big project and it has me a little timmed so the work is slow going. I like to think things through for a week or so before making the first cuts. Also I try to make to scale dwgs that way I can avoid some of the uh-ohs and scrap wood.
-- It seem's I just make scrap wood and saw dust most of the time !
