First of several Christmas gifts I am to make. This is from a photo, by request of a granddaughter who studies endlessly and is an over-achiever. Made of Baltic Birch Ply, it is 13” wide and 10” deep, adjustable to three heights. Now to get on to the others….
What is everybody else working on?

This is a really great design, Barb! I can see many who would love one of these! It is going to be a wonderful hit!
I am working on several candle trays and ornaments for gifts for this year. I have to mail out many of them soon so I have to finish up pretty quick.
Thanks for sharing your picture with us. That is a great idea!
Sheila :)

I love it, I could just see my Ipad sitting on it. Great idea.
Barbs I am trying to build a mini bench for the grandson. Maybe that will give him something to bang on with his hammer while Pawpaw is working on a project.

I love it! I could see my self with one a bit smaller for my Kindle. I might need to ‘borrow’ that idea.

Hi Barb, that is an excellent idea especially for recipe books. The recipient is going to love this, nothing nicer than a home made gift.
Thanks for sharing Barb.

Thank you, Cher. Glad to see you around here again. Maybe you should get into the shop and make a book rack for your own cook books? Or have you done that already? Actually, I’m anxious to hear what my 11-yr. old, super-achiever grand daughter thought of this book rack on Christmas morning. Only one week to wait! ;-)

Hi Barb, thank you, I have thought of making one but I dont do much out of recipe books these days, when the children come to visit they like to take over in the kitchen and I let them. At this moment, I am sitting with a planner that needs a service, a table saw with a blade that is not centred and a router that keeps falling out of the router table, all the tools that I are important, if Henry was around he would have had the ts sorted and the router, I will have them seen to in the new year. Your grand daughter is going to love that gift, hand made by Gran. You sound very proud of her and rightly so, I dont have grand children, my children are focused on careers at this moment. Please take photos of your grand daughter when she receives her gift, I would love to see her expression.
Thanks Barb, you are so sweet.
