Simple pine box with a knob from the surplus pile. The finish is old school: stained with brewed tea, coated with iron oxide, stained with tobacco/ammonia and finished with BLO/turpentine. I think I’ll keep this one.

An interesting finishing regimen. Are you going to stain the inside of the box, or add flocking or felt at all?
