Ladybug cutting board I made a few years back. Very cute project for Christmas presents but it’s a time hog. If anyone is interested, I may be able to scan the plan.

I like this a lot! If only I had the time before Christmas, this would definitely make a great gift!

You’re right Nick, it’s an awesome Christmas gift. It’s fussy and time consuming. Worth the fuss and time for a gift but not practical for selling which is something I do.

Very cute indeed. Here’s another vote for posting the plan.

OK. I figured out where I got the plan. It was in Wood Magazine, Issue 120, Winter 1999. I can’t find the issue and I may not have it anymore. I do have a photo copy of the drawing but I haven’t found it yet. You can buy the pdf plan online for a small fee but I’m still hoping to find mine. Here’s the link to the plan:

I used bloodwood and ebony when I made it some years ago. Both are tough to find and expensive if you do. Now you would probably do well to use Padauk and Wenge.

I like that, looks like it would be fun to make. I would like the plan for that if possible.
