So I’ve been wanting to make one of these for a long time. This past 2 weeks I made it a goal of mine to use up some of my scrap laying around the shop. I used 1/2” Baltic Birch and just free hand the design from the Mark’s website.

I call it the dolphin design, lol

That is a lot fancier looking than mine. One thing I did differently than on yours is to put another notch right out at the tip. Don’t use that as often as the back notch, but it is handy when you need it.

She’s a beauty.

I only seem to make push sticks when I can’t quickly put my hands on one that I’ve already made. Usually, I just do an angled notch out of the end of a stick of scrap plywood.

One day, though, I’ll actually think about, and THEN make one, and … it will surely follow that design :-)
