This is a pair of tables my son and I built this past fourth of July. When they arrived he told me he needed a pair of end tables, he said he would do the grilling if I would get started on making the tables . The tops were already glued up from a previous project they were rejected from because of the knots. All I had to do was cut the glued panel to the size of the tables he wanted and come up with a table design I could put together in one after noon. I have never built a table before, so this it what I came up with they are a bit rough out / rustic but we liked them when they were finished .maybe they will be pleasing to look at and not so hard on the eyes..

Thanks for looking …..

Very nice tables. In looking through your projects, it is interesting that this is your first time building a table. A small table was the first thing I built when I got started trying to do furniture building, and I happen to be working on another one right now (glue is drying as we speak). I have to say this second one is going a lot better than the first one.
