Is this the house spirits older brother who got tired of being cooped up in a house, but is now too civilized
to become a wood spirit, so he just does yard work when he can find the time? That sorta resembles me
come to think of it, except I do not have a beard & mustache. Very wonderful carving, thank you once
again for sharing your world with us.

Nice one, Lidiya. That sly look off to the side, what is he hiding?

Another excellent carving. The expressions on the face are so interesting and playful. It makes me wonder what he is thinking about.

Uncle Vaniya? ...I do not know why but every time I look at your carvings I recall short stories written by Anton Pavlovich Chekhov. I only hope someday I will see my favorite character musician Smytchkov from “Romance with Bouble-bass”.
Lidiya !, thank you very much for sharing with us your undisputable talent! which brings pleasure to see real art.
