This is a baseball bed that was completed in November 2011. It is one of my sports theme beds that has been modified a little with a Special Edition version. We special ordered bats form Louisville slugger that has the child’s name on them. The scoreboard has a little more attention to it. We built it out of solid ash, to match the bat, and had the scoreboard info engraved in it. A set of six drawers under the bed provided a little extra storage. I’ve also put trundles under there.
The finish was just a clear to keep look of the bat. We highlighted the recesses in the headboard with black paint.

The scoreboard has the Mets leading the Yankees in the bottom on the 9th. Two outs and a full count. Who should win this one?
