My son is a LEGO-fiend…and the bottoms of my feet aren’t getting any tougher when it comes to stepping on small LEGO pieces. So I made this “LEGO-tray” out of scrap and 8×10 LEGO sheets.
Before you say it…I know…the “six-fingered man” would appreciate the handles. That’s what you get for designing on the fly…or maybe I was just having too much fun with that forstner bit to notice!
Happy Thanksgiving Fellow LJ’s.

That is incredible! When I was a kid, my favorite thing to play with was legos (I still collect some of the Star Wars lego sets ;) )
great idea!

Your son is destined to be an engineer. I know. I speak from experience. Our 29 year old son was a Lego and Blocks and Marbles nut!
Nice job… to both of you!

“I am Inigo Montoya. You killed my father. Prepare to die.”
I just love that movie. Thanks for the reminder. Oh, and nice tray.

Very nicely done. I too, have two grown sons who were Legos fiends! And they’ve become fine young men who are intelligent and handy around tools. Keep buying him Legos and keep encouraging him to build with them!
And thos e aren’t handles for six-fingered men. They are designed so you can pick up the tray from either side – a design characteristic the rest of us often fail to graps! (Pun intended!)
Cheers!
