Ideas for Christmas decorations

I thought as Christmas is just around the corner I would post some ideas. I made these for last Christmas as some new decorations. These are made out of 1/4” thick oak, cherry & maple for the main piece, & the runners are walnut. I made the runners out of one piece & used my band saw to cut about 1/8” strips so they would all look the same. I made them look a little different with the nose design and inlay. finished them with some tung oil & tied some jute string around the front to look like a pull string. They are now annual Christmas decorations. I hope you like them & maybe even gave someone an idea for a Christmas project.

Great idea, they would look great on anyones tree but even better on a woodworkers tree.

These are great, We always buy the kids a special ornament every year for the tree. I may have to make a little time, to put something like this together for them this year. Thanks for sharing such a great ideal.
